儀器介紹
此儀器使用波長532 nm 之固態激光能用於眼科外科手術，包括視網膜和斑的光凝固作用，修補高度近視併發症的視網膜裂孔，以防止惡化成視網膜剝離而造成視力不可逆的惡化；治療嚴重的糖尿病視網膜病變或是俗稱「眼中風」的視網膜靜脈阻塞。此儀器亦能應用於建立小鼠眼疾病模式，例如將小樑網 (trabecular meshwork) 阻塞而使眼壓升高，模擬青光眼 (glaucoma)，藉此進行藥物篩檢或細胞治療，發展治療方式。
This instrument uses a solid-state laser with a wavelength of 532 nm for ophthalmic surgical procedures, including photocoagulation of the retina and macula, repairing retinal tears caused by complications of high myopia to prevent progression to retinal detachment and irreversible vision loss, and treating severe diabetic retinopathy or retinal vein occlusion (commonly known as "eye stroke"). This instrument can also be applied to establish ocular disease models in mice, such as inducing elevated intraocular pressure by blocking the trabecular meshwork to simulate glaucoma, which can then be used for drug screening or cell therapy development.
