This is a full-spectrum ultra-micro-volume spectrophotometer that can be used for the quantification and purity assessment of DNA, RNA, proteins, and other substances. Utilizing the surface tension properties of liquids, only a sample volume of 0.5 to 2 μL is required. By bringing the upper and lower measurement arms into contact on the detection pedestal, a fixed path length is created, achieving the advantages of rapid, micro-volume, high-concentration detection without the need for consumables like cuvettes or capillaries.
The NanoDrop 2000c is the model equipped with a cuvette detection mode.
